o Fish Tracking and Recognition: this research uses heuristic method and Neural Networks to train models for identifying fish from video feed. The research outcome involve Python, PHP, JavaScript (AJAX and JSON).

o Eliminating Environmental Context for Fall Detection based on Movement Traces: this research uses Neural Networks in Python to train models for fall detection from video and verifies the performance with known video data set.

B. Day #2

-  Date/Time: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM in Mountain Time on Friday, September 3

-  Presentations

o Open Street Map based Next-Stop Recommender: this research implements an Android app and a recommendation service with two algorithms to predict and make Point of Interest and PoI category recommendations for the mobile app's users according to their anonymous time-series data. The research outcome involve Android, Python, PHP, XML, JavaScript (AJAX and JSON), and Open Street Map.

o Valid N-Grams Learning and Verification with DBPedia: this research uses Natural Language Processing basics with DBPedia to identify the valid n-gram words and important part-of-speech tags. The research outcome implements services that can take users' requests in JSON to help them verify valid part-of-speech tags and identify valid n-grams. The research outcome involve Python, PHP, JavaScript (AJAX and JSON), and DBPedia.

o Training care givers and sitters with chatbots: this research creates a web-based visualized editing environment for chatbot creation so people can practice and can be trained via talking and interacting with chatbots. The research outcome involve PHP, JavaScript (AJAX and JSON), RiveScript, and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG).
